Torque Teno virus(TTV)是1997年从输血后非甲-戊型肝炎病人中分离到的新病毒,归属于圆环病毒科指环病毒属,根据基因序列差异,可分为TTV1和TTV2两个基因型。TTV感染谱很广,已知可感染人、灵长类和家养动物。论文重点对人类、部分灵长类动物和猪的TTV感染状况进行了综述,表明这些动物均易感或有较高的阳性率。虽然目前未能证实TTV感染与人和动物的特定疾病相关联,但必须予以关注。

Torque Teno virus（TTV） was first isolated in 1997 from a human patient with non A-E hepatitis following a transfusion,currently was classified into the family Circoviridae, genus Anellovirus. TTV was distinguished as genotype 1 and 2 according to different nucleotide sequences. Infection with TTV appears almost ubiquitous across different human populations, several primate species and farm animals. This paper reported a very high prevalence of TTV in human, several primate species and swine. Although TTV infection is not known to be associated with any human and animal specific diseases, but we must pay attention to it.
