石化现象瓶颈问题的研究及实证方法探讨

The Study on Key Issues of Fossilization and Its Empirical Research

本文通过梳理石化与第二语言习得、中介语研究之间的关系,讨论了石化概念差异所引发的五个主要问题即:语言石化是局部发生还是普遍发生;最后成就是否石化;石化是一种结果还是一种过程;固化是否等于石化;五年可作为衡量纵向研究时间的一个标准等。并对如何开展外语环境下的实证研究做了一定的探讨。

Fossilization is characterized as a salient feature in Inter-language system. With the research on SLA and IL deepening,the concept of fossilization has been changing and is divergent. By establishing the relationship between fossilization,SLA and IL,this paper is to discuss 5 key questions related to the concept such as： 1 ） global vs. local; 2） ultimate attainment vs. fossilization; 3） a product vs. a process; 4） stabilization vs. fossilization;5）Should a longitudinal study last 5 years？ What＇s more,this paper is also to discuss the way to carry on empirical studies on fossilization. The purpose is to sketch a picture of fossilization over 30 years and set up the theoretical framework for future empirical research.
