摘要
为提高水声通信网络吞吐量并降低端对端时延,针对水声信道低质量和高延迟的特点,对MACAW协议作出了改进。改进一是采用多帧确认,一次握手期间进行多帧数据传输;改进二是采用虚拟载波侦听,在对接收到的信息进行分析的基础上判断信道将被占用的时间。通过使用OPNET有限状态机形式建立改进的MACAW协议规范与相关算法模型,仿真结果表明该协议能在水声环境下取得优良的吞吐性能和较低的端对端时延。
To increase average throughput and decrease end-to-end delay of underwater acoustic networks, the original MACAW protocol is improved according to the low quality and high delay characteristics of underwater acoustic channel. The first improvement is to use multiple frame acknowledgement which means that more than one frame are transmitted during one handshake. The second improvement is to use virtual carrier sense. The time when the channel will be occupied is estimated by analyzing received message. The improved MACAW protocol criterion is established by OPNET FSM. Simulation result shows that the given protocol has larger average throughput and lower end-to-end delay than the original MACAW protocol.
