摘要
用“八五”攻关水化、水位地震短临预报方法分析研究了1996年5月3日包头西6．4级地震前后震中周围300km范围内水化群体异常随时间的变化特征与地震的关系，结果表明利用该方法可以对包头西6.4级地震发震时间进行短临预测．证明了该方法在地震预报中具有重要的实用价值。
This paper f using short term and imminent earthquake prediction methods of hydrochemistry and water level, has analyzed and studied the variational characteristics of the grouped hydrochemical anamolies within the rainge of 300 km aroud the epicenter before and after the Baotou Ms6. 4 earthquake occurred on May3, 1996, and the relation to the earthquake. The result showed that the method can be used to make a short term and imminent prediction to the occurrence time of the Baotou Ms6. 4 earthquake and proved that the method is of important practical value in earthquake prediction.
