The paper describes how to manufacture light insulation cap by using thick wall hollow micro ball as the base material. It emphasizes the discussion and explaination on the chemical and physical properties of raw material, determination of mixture composition and flowchart. Through industrial trial production, the light and high strength insulation material has been successfully manufactured. The new product gain very outstanding economical and social benefit. The paper provides a new way for the product development on the application of powdered coal ash.
