河南省新建本科高校学科建设现状分析及发展建议

Analysis of the Present Situation of and Development Proposals to Academic Discipline Construction amongst Newly-Upgraded Universities in Henan Province

学科建设是高校办学水平的重要标志,是国家科技创新的骨干力量。笔者分析了河南省新建本科高校学科的分布特点及其形成原因,并对学科的进一步发展提出了建议:坚持科学发展观,制定学科建设规划;调整学科结构,凝练学科方向;利用地域文化特色加强特色学科重点发展工科、大力发展特色学科,稳步发展基础学科。

Academic discipline is an important indicator of the level of a university, and the backbone of the national scientific and technological innovation. The article analyses the current academic discipline distribution characteristics and their causes amongst newly-upgraded universities in Henan Province and puts forward some advices for further development of academic disciplines such as implementing the Scientific Outlook on Development to work out the academic discipline construction plan, adjusting the academic discipline structure to optimize the academic discipline direction, strengtbening the construction of featured academic disciplines utilizing regional cultural advantages, as well as prioritizing engineering courses and featured courses and steadily develop basic academic disciplines.
