摘要
村上春树是日本文坛为数不多的百万畅销书作家之一。由于不愿与创作纯日本文学作品的日本文坛接近,其小说结构、写作手法以及文体、语言风格明显带有西方文学以及美国当代文学的色彩,经常受到日本主流评论界的抨击,被认为是"非日本"。通过对村上春树的《奇鸟形状录》、《地下》、《约定的场所》、《海边的卡夫卡》及《天黑以后》等作品的梳理,证明村上作为日本的一分子,即使身在异国、师从欧美文学,仍然心系国家与民族,他有他的日本关心。
Murakami, as one of the few best seller writers in Japan, is often criticized as being "non-Japanese" by the main stream critics, since, perhaps deliberately, his novels' structure, writing techniques, style and language are apparently similar to western writings, especially American contemporary literature. And his works The Shape of a Strange Bird, Underground, Appointed Place, Kafka at Seaside and After Dark all prove his concern for Japan. However, Murakami, though learning much from European and American literature, concerns himself with his nation and country as a Japanese.
