《西华大学学报》（自然科学版）创刊于1982年，双月刊，是由四川省教育厅主管、西华大学主办的综合性学术期刊。国内外公开发行，国内统一刊号：CN51—1686N；国际标准刊号：ISSN1673—159X，CODENXDXZAO。
Journal of Xihua University （Natural Science Edition）, sponsored by Xihua University under the supervision of Education Department of Sichuan Province, is a comprehensive academic periodical. The journal aims at exhibiting and publicizing the scientific results and comprehensive academic potentials of the University in China and abroad, spreading scientific and technical information, promoting academic exchange and reporting the latest scientific and technological achievements.
