To face the 21st Century challenges of globalized competition, climate change, degradation of the marine environment, maritime safety and security, and energy security and sustainability, EU published the Integrated Maritime Policy on Oct 2007 to ensure the comprehensive management of maritime resources after one year＂ of consultation and analysis among the members. This thesis illustrates the above mentioned maritime policy and management framework of EU in the three aspects of the fundamental principle, basic theory and final targets, and main contents.
