有一种观点认为,杨朱学说的核心或重点是一种治国之道,其根据是《列子.杨朱》中的几段话。通过仔细分析可以看出,这些话不可能是杨朱的意思。杨朱的主张并不是一种治国之道,他只是坚持一种个人对待社会、国家的态度。

Some researchers hold the idea that the core or key of Yang Zhu＇s theories is a strategy for state affair management.Such an idea is based on some written materials from Records of the Historian＂ Yang Zhu. However, earefully analyzed,the materials apparently do not represent Yang Zhu＇s ideas. What Yang Zhu advocates is not a strategy in state affair management,hut a kind of attitude individuals hold toward the society and the state.
