This paper advances a different view from that of Mr. Chu Ban-nong, who identifies the language in Jin Ping Mei Ci Hua with Wu dialect. The author observes： the dialect in Jin Ping Mei Ci Huais more close to the dialect of Gaocheng and Zhengding in Hebei province.
