Reception of Chinese Literature in the Dutch Context

自1767年第一部转译中国文学作品在荷兰出版以来,其出版量逐渐增多,出版内容逐渐丰富,至20世纪八九十年代中国文学翻译潮在荷兰达到高峰。本文全面梳理中国文学在荷兰的译介史,借以呈现中国文学在荷兰语境中的接受,并探讨从翻译方式到翻译内容的嬗变。

In this article preliminary results are given of the research into the development of Chinese literature in Dutch translation. Starting from the first publication in 1767, the number of published translations gradually increased culminating in art upsurge over the last two decades of the 20th century. Important tides are highlighted against the background of China studies and the reading public in the Netherlands and special attention is given to changes in mode and content of Chinese literature translated into the Dutch language.
