Because of the contradiction among national codes, industry standards and local regulation, and the limited detail design, some typical problems were often met in the construction of EPS external thermal insulation, which include whether use the bolt to fix, the problems of the layer for protecting and of the design of separating chink. Through analyzing and investigating to the construction, the solutions were obtained and carried out, and the good effect was acquired.
