Based on the development and application of Energy Conservation Materials in Buildings （ECMB）, from the point of broad-defined energy conversation in buildings, the situation and tide of ECMB＇s development were described, and some problems and solutions in the popularization and application of ECMB were discussed. It will provide a reference for the selection of ECMB, moreover, it can promote the research and development of ECMB.
