英汉单位词语用搭配对比研究

A Contrastive Study of Pragmatics and Collocation Between English and Chinese Unit Words

源于不同文化、不同语言以及不同思维方式的英汉单位词,表现出了明显的民族文化和语言特性,也从一个侧面折射出了中西两种民族的风俗习惯、生活方式及语言文化传统。本文在借鉴R.Qu irk和章振邦等中外著名语言学家的有关理论的基础上,主要运用自己多年来积累的英汉语语料,并结合近年来前人在这方面的研究成果,从四个方面切入,尝试探讨了英汉单位词在语用搭配方面的规律及特征,进一步对比分析了中西两种语言在表示数量概念/意义方面所存在的异同点。

Derived from different cultures, languages and modes of thinking, English and Chinese unit words obviously exemplify their national, cultural and linguistic identity, and also reflect from one aspect the folkways and customs, ways of life, and linguistic and cultural traditions of China and the West. Based on the theories of the famous linguists at home and abroad, especially R. Quirk ＆ Zhang Zhenbang, this paper, mainly using and utilizing English and Chinese corpora accumulated over the past years by the author himself and combining the results of this research achieved by scholars in recent years, has conducted an attemptive discussion on the classifications, the basic laws and features that unit words possess in pragmatic and collocational aspect, and a further contrastive analysis of similarities and differences between the two languages in concept of quatity and meaning.
