Research on Types of Adjectivisation of Grammatical Metaphor

语法隐喻是系统功能语言学的一个重要概念,是重塑经验和认知世界的工具。本文以Halliday的语法隐喻理论为基础,探讨语法隐喻的形容词化及其五种呈现类型。指出形容词化是语法隐喻的另一重要体现形式,其转移向度具有双向性;形容词化研究是对当前名词化主导下的语法隐喻研究的必要补充和积极发展。

Grammatical metaphor is an important concept of Systemic and Functional Linguistics and serves as a tool for reshaping experience and knowing the world. The paper, based on Halliday＇ s theory of grammatical metaphor, focuses on adjectivisation of grammatical metaphor and its five types. It is pointed out that adjectivisation is another important realization form of grammatical metaphor and its transference orientation is bidirectional and that the research on adjectivisation is a necessary supplement to current nomination-dominated research and contributes to promoting the research on grammatical metaphor.
