The history of the People＇ s Republic of China is an emerging discipline of importance. Through researching this history scientifically and guiding the cadre and the mass to learn it carefully, we can cultivate the people and improve our governance. To research it scientifically, we must set up and hold up the correct guideline, embody the characteristics of the history of the People＇ s Republic China, establish a main thread of study, understand and treat mistakes appropriately, be practical and realistic to summarize experiences and lessons, and treat the historical figures fairly and objectively.
