摘要
中国古典美学以"和"为美的实质是以"中和"为美。蕴含诸多文化意蕴的中和之美体现了中国古代艺术的根本精神,是古代中国人生实践和艺术创造的最高理想,其内在特征是刚柔相济,外在表现是文质彬彬。中和之美的理想和追求渗透着古代社会对人的、道德伦理的、社会政治的理想,是"天人合一"的至美。
In Chinese classical aesthetics, the essence of regarding neutrality as beauty is regarding harmony as beauty. The beauty of neutrality, containing various cultural connotations, reflects not only the fundamental spirit of the ancient Chinese art but also the highest ideal for the ancient Chinese people to practice life and art creation. Moreover, the intrinsic characteristics of the beauty of neutrality is tempering toughness with gentleness and its external representation is being urbane. The beauty of neutrality, called superior beauty of "harmony of man with nature", embodies the ideals of social ethics and morals, social politics and human life in ancient society.
