This paper presents a comprehensive study of the great contribution that Mr. Feng You-lan has made to Wei-Jin metaphysics in his academic career. Because of his special understanding and great contribution, he is considered as the inaugurate and founder in this field. His studies on Wei-Jin metaphysics have been conducted for many years and as a result are quite productive and influential especially in the field of Guoxiang metaphysics, the methodology of metaphysics, the different schools and developing stages of Metaphysics, the spiritual characteristics of Wei-Jin metaphysics and so on.
