"拆船公约",第一次将环保理念应用到船舶的整个生命周期,摆脱了其它公约"就事论事"式的传统思维,要求船舶从建造到拆解,整个生命周期都要受到该公约的制约,使绿色船舶理念落地生根。作为船舶在生命周期内时间最长的拥有者,船东必然要关注"拆船公约"的进展和要求。对于航运界来说,对"拆船公约"的耳闻可谓很多,但对其具体内容和对于船公司的影响可谓知之甚少。5月11日,"拆船公约"外交大会在香港召开,让我们来近距离分析该公约的要求,掀起"拆船公约"神秘的面纱。
Unlike previous guidelines and conventions,the International Convention for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships,for the first time,realizes the concept of environmental protection throughout a ship's entire life cycle.The Convention requires a ship to conform with its regulations from cradle to grave.As owners of ships for most part of the life cycle,shipowners must pay attention to the development and regulations of the Convention.
