摘要
学生的英语阅读能力是大学英语教学的重点,是学生综合运用语言能力的体现。在英语阅读中运用自我监控策略是一条提高学生阅读能力的有效途径。大学英语教师应该把自我监控阅读策略渗透到具体阅读教学内容中,激发学生的学习动机和兴趣,培养学生的自主阅读习惯。
English comprehension, as the evidence of students' integrated English language competence, is one of the key points in college English teaching. Self- monitoring strategy is an effective way of improving students' English comprehension. College English teachers should instruct their students how to employ this metacognitive strategy in comprehension.
