构式语法框架下英语致使-移动句的语义研究

Semantic Study on English Caused-Motion Sentences within the Framework of Construction Grammar

以构式语法理论为框架,选取英语致使-移动构式及其所在的致使-移动句为研究对象,具体探讨英语致使-移动构式在句中的五种语义解读,并尝试借助数学中的映射来讨论致使-移动句中复杂的语义互动关系。结果发现致使-移动句中存在多个不同意义映射,各自对应关系彼此相异又暗含联系,难以仅用一个简单复合函数式来反映其中复杂的对应关系。

This paper, within the frame of Construction Grammar, chooses the English caused-motion construction as its object of study. It detailedly discusses five semantic interpretations of the causedmotion construction, and attempts to discuss the complicated meaning relations existing in the causedmotion sentence with the help of mapping in mathematics. There are several different meaning mappings existing in the caused-motion sentence, and the corresponding relations of those mappings are both different and related with each other. It is difficult to reflect those complicated corresponding relations only through a simple composite functional expression.
