摘要
英语中的连接词作为语篇衔接的一种手段,对篇章的衔接、连贯起着重要的作用。然而,中国英语学习者连接词误用现象严重,以往的研究对象多为英语专业本科或研究生,研究内容多局限于学习者少用或超用连接词。采用中国学习者英语语料库,对各个阶段学习者的子语料库的连接词误用进行对比分析,找出误用特征与原因,以期对中国英语学习者连接词误用情况有全面的了解,同时提出建议。
This study aims to explore Chinese EFL learners' acquisition of misuse of connectives at different proficiency levels. In order to make an overall investigation of Chinese EFL learners, contrastive interlanguage analysis and error analysis are carried out in this study. The data for analysis are obtained from Chinese Learner English Corpus (CLEC), and the tool used in this study is Gotagger. Statistics show that misuse of connectives by Chinese EFL learners results from language transfer, avoidance and overgeneralization and some features of misuse. It is suggested that teachers should make students aware of the different functions of connectives in writing.
