冷战结束后，随着全球化和区域化的发展，国际性地区之间的联系日益增加，大多数地区组织都在扩大地区问关系，出现了许多地区间合作机制，如亚太经济合作组织、亚欧会议、东亚一拉美合作论坛、欧盟一拉美合作、环印度洋地区合作联盟，等等。虽然一些地区组织早在20世纪70年代就已定期联系，但从90年代开始，地区间关系的数量才有了快速增长，地区间合作的深度得到了显著加强。国际关系由此增加了一个新的层次，即地区间或跨地区层次，

Pushed by new regionalism, interregionalism has become a new part of regional cooperation after the end of the Cold War, which has reflected increasing interactions between regions in the world. This article explores the inter-regionalism＇s development and forms, studies and contents, roles and contributions, etc., and concludes that the inter-regionalism creates a new form of regional cooperation that is the establishment of interregional relations, and plays a constructive role in the shaping of region, which is composed of a part of the unfolding process of regional cooperation in the world.
