The universal tendency on life is one of the themes that is worth attention during the New Literature period in 1920s. The novels of the the Chuangzao Literature Society, laying stress on self-consciousness as a feature, expanding life time and space as a way of writing,and strengthening subjective spirit as an objective,describe individual life in such a broad space and time of the universe, to show the existence,pursuit and value of life. The consilience of the cosmic outlook and the outlook on life,the blending of the life experience and the social observation,and the discussion on the life and death boundary and the ideal life state, all have expanded the room for thoughts on the universal tendency on life in the novels of the the Chuangzao Literature Society. And that tendency with the authors there becomes so natural in life and shows the spirit of the individual life transcending the reality,oneself and time and space.
