On Chinese Currency Culture through Studying Several Chinese Characters from Interpreting Chinese Characters

汉字是汉文化的活化石,考察汉字能够一窥古人的生活和文化。"贝、布、刀、圜、钱、泉、币"是汉字系统中用来表示钱币的一组字,有的沿用至今,在对它们进行来源分析和使用情况的探索后,可以了解汉先民早期经济活动的部分面貌和质朴的经济思想。

Chinese characters are regarded as living fossils to Hart culture. The ancient life and culture can be sketched through studying Chinese characters. Several Chinese characters like ＂Bei, Bu, Dao, Yuan, Qian, Quan and Bi＂ are used to indicate currency and some of which are still in use. The economic activities and economic thoughts in former times can be learned about by exploring usage of these Chinese characters.
