Strengthening Cooperation Between University and Neijiang City in an Attempt to Serve the Local Economy and Society

地方高等院校发展必须立足地方、依托地方、紧密与地方结合才能形成办学特色,才能充分发挥其培养人才、科学研究、服务社会的基本职能。内江师范学院长期以来积极努力实践和探索,在弘扬地方民俗文化、打造城市文化品牌、科学技术服务方面取得了较为显著的成效。进一步解放思想,加强市校合作,创新合作机制和模式,搭建科技信息交流平台,实现互惠共赢将是校地之间未来发展的方向。

Only when local universities depend on and integrate themselves with the places in which they are can they form their own traits and exert fully their functions of training, scientific research, and serving societies. In aspects, such as carrying forward the folk-customs and local culture, building the cultural brand of Neijiang City, and science and technology service, Neijiang Normal University has made notable achievements in her long efforts in practice and exploration. It is the direction of cooperation between university and the city to strengthen the collaboration, to further emancipate the mind, to innovate the cooperative mechanism, to build channels of exchanging scientific and technological information, and to achieve mutual benefit.
