摘要
首先阐释了图式理论,然后从图式理论的全新视角阐述了阅读理解过程,进而推出文化背景知识在阅读理解过程中的重要作用,由此强调在大学英语教学中文化背景知识教学的重要性,最后提出了文化背景知识教学的原则和方法。
As a start , the present paper reviews Schemata Theory, and then expounds comprehensive reading process in its perspective, which infers the significance of cultural background knowledge and the necessity and importance of culture teaching in college English teaching. As the ending part, the basic principles and suggested methods are presented to guide the practice of culture teaching.
