The totem worship is taken as the product of original tribal clan era. The totem worship has gradually quitted from the stage of history after the class stratification of the society. However, the tradition of totem worship can be found in the historical and cultural folklore and customs in China. To understand the totem worship of Shang Clan is significant for us in understanding of the origin of Shang culture in ancient China .
