摘要 大众传媒的社会责任理论并不是传媒自由理论的对立面,而是对传媒自由理论的补充、修正与确证。在这种补充、修正与确证中,社会责任理论把自由解读为个人对于他的思想、对于他的良心的义务为基础、且附有义务的一项道德权利。尽管大众传媒的社会责任理论充分认识到了传媒自由泛滥所导致的近乎灾难性后果,并试图通过责任建构来找到有效的解决方法,但这一努力并没有取得预期中的理想效果,而且,社会责任理论自身也面临着许多理论与实践上的困境。 The theory of social responsibility of the mass media is not the contrary of the theory freedom,but it's supplement, revision and corroboration. And the freedom is taken as one's moral right which combines with obligation based on his thoughts and the obligation for his conscience. Though the theory of social responsibility has plenitudely mediated the approximate sequence caused by deluge of the freedom of the mass media. And it also tries to find an effective resolvent by constructing social responsibility. But in fact, this effort has never taken out an ideal antipative effect. And even more, the theory itself is confronted with much theoretical and practical dilemma.
