摘要
分析多种Walker星座的PDOP,研究Walker星座的轨道构型参数:轨道高度、轨道倾角、平面数、卫星颗数、调相因子对导航可用性的影响。并得出在平面数为3时,只需24颗卫星即可达到全球PDOP值小于3,这也是实现全球PDOP值小于3的Walker星座中所需卫星颗数最小的星座。
In this paper we analyze a variety of the PDOP values of Walker constellation by using numerical simulations. We study the parameters affecting the navigation availability constellation orbital altitude/inclination, the number of orbital planes, the number of satellites, and relative phase indices. It is shown that when the number of orbital planes is 3, the value of PDOP can be less than 3 by using only 24 satellites, which is actually the smallest number of satellites to achieve PDOP 〈 3.
