针对城市文化遗产保护的重要性,分析了城市发展与遗产保护间的冲突,介绍了西方城市遗产保护的举措,指出城市发展与城市文化遗产保护不一定是互相矛盾的,也可以是相辅相成互相推动的。

Aiming at the importance of urban cultural heritage protection, the conflict between urban development and heritage protection was analyzed, and the Western urban heritage protection measures were introduced. It pointed out that urban development and urban cultural heritage protection was not always contradicted, also can impelled complementary each other.
