《高级英语》课程是高等学校英语专业本科生高年级阶段一门十分重要的主干必修课程,其目的和任务是训练学生综合英语技能,扩大学生知识面,巩固和提高学生英语语言技能。使其在今后的工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习能力,提高其综合文化素养。

Advanced English is an obligatory course and task are to train students＇ comprehensive skills in strengthen and enhance students＇ English language for the juniors majoring in English in Universities. Its aim English, to widen students＇ range of knowledge and to skills so as to communicate effectively in oral and written English in future, meanwhile, to strengthen their independent study ability and to raise their comprehensive cultural accomplishment. This paper mainly introduces an approach to building Advanced English curricula of excellence.
