The author of this paper traces the European modernistic movies to the origin of their modernistic philosophy - theology by applying the theory of text analysis and history anatomy. All the previous researchers neglected the tradition of Christianity when they studied the European modernlstie movies, which did not correspond to the Western cultural reality. The author traces the European modernistic movies to existentialism of Jean Paul Sartre, intuitionalism of Henri Bergsonand, neo - orthodox existential theology, and neo - religious liberalism. The European modernistic movies have been followed with great interest since they emerged just because their creators have infinitely explored the ultimate prepositions of metaphysics - the nature of man, the relationship between man and the world, and the relationship between man and God.
