摘要
提出一种基于条件最大似然(Conditional Maximum Likelihood,CML)估计的改进型IR-UWB同步算法.算法改进包含两项优化方案:帧级噪声抑制(Frame-level Noise Suppression,FNS)和噪声模板互相关估计(Noise Template Cross-correla-tion Estimation,NTCE).与原CML算法相比较,改进算法增强了模板构造与参数估计环节中的噪声抑制处理,数学分析及仿真实验结果表明优化方案实现了预期的均方误差和误比特率的减小以及同步捕获概率的提升.本文还针对提出的改进型算法设计了相应的低复杂度电路结构,并在最后给出VLSI的实现结果.
Based on CML estimation, a modified synchronization algorithm is proposed for IR-UWB system, which includes two improved schemes: Frame-level Noise Suppression (FNS) and Noise Template Cross-correlation Estimation (NTCE). Compared with original CML algorithm, the proposed algorithm enhances the noise suppression in the stage of noise template gen- eration and parameter estimation. Both mathematical analysis and simulation indicate that each proposed scheme could achieve the expected optimization of performance. Besides, the paper also provides the circuit structure according to the proposed algorithm. The result of VLSI implementation will be presented at the end of this paper.
