The new pedestrian bicycle bridge designed by west 8 for the municipality of Vlaardingen, was officially opened in April 2009 to allow pedestrians to cross the Vlaardingse Vaart. The bridge in Vlaardingen in a crucial link within the regional bicycle path network of the province of South Holland.
