摘要
IEC61508引入并提倡安全生命周期的概念,对系统集成商而言,IEC61508的合规意味的绝不仅仅是简单满足硬件的Pfd(要求时的失效概率)值。一套经第三方权威认证的体制化的功能安全管理系统(FSMS)是确保功能安全项目顺利实施的有效保证。简要介绍建立功能安全管理系统的重要性和必要性,讲述ABB公司正在全球向其指定的安全执行中心(SEC)推广实施的建立经TüV认证、满足IEC61508和IEC61511要求的功能安全管理系统的战略举措。
IEC 61508 introduces and promotes a safety life cycle concept, for system integrator compliance to IEC 61508 means more than just a Pfd （Probability of Failure on Demand）. To install a Functional Safety Management System （FSMS） certified through an accredited 3rd-party organization is an effective way to safeguard implementation of a functional safety project. This paper addresses the importance and necessity of a FSMS establishment, and talks about the on-going ABB global initiatives on setting up TUV certified FSMS for a number of selected Safety Execution Centers in line with IEC 61508 and IEC 61511.
