The writing ability of English is a key skill emphasized in the foreign language teaching. It is the most troublesome courses of a lot of Chinese students, too. Utilizing an appropriate way carrying on the teaching of writing in the course of intensive reading thoroughly, we can get twice the result with half the effort. This paper has expounded the feasibility of teaching English writing in intensive reading classes and how to carry it out.
