摘要 骨骼的主要功能是提供一个刚性结构来支持、保护软组织和促进运动,如肋骨、骨盆和颅骨为内容物提供保护,同时肋骨还有维持呼吸功能的重要作用,而长骨的完整性是运动的前提。从进化的角度看,骨骼系统应与软组织协调发展。体重增加使骨骼承受的负荷加重,人体自身调节骨密度(bonemineral density,BMD)以适应这种变化,使肥胖人群的骨折发生率与体重正常人群无异。因此,肥胖是大多数骨质疏松症患者免于骨折的重要保护因素。
