The importance of independent management of work teams in coal mines is dealt with in this paper. The author of this paper also proposes that optimized labour organization with simplified management structure is necessary in coal mines. Also discussed in this paper are the target of work team management, implementation of responsibility of the work team and the power to be given to the team leaders under new system as well as how to ensure a normal and professionalized operation of the new work team system.
