应劭与《风俗通义》

Ying Shao and Feng Su Tong Yi

应劭是东汉后期的著名学者。他熟悉朝廷典章制度,著有《汉官礼仪故事》等典章制度史著作,意在为国家施政提供借鉴。他为《汉书》作集解音义,在《汉书》学史上有开创之功。他著《风俗通义》力图起到齐风俗、明义理、正人心的作用。《风俗通义》有益世用,在中国史学史上有一定地位。

Ying Shao was a famous scholar in East Han Dynasty. He was acquainted with the government＇s institutions and rules and wrote the book Official Manners in Han Dynasty which aimed to offer references to the government＇s administration. He wrote Phonology and Semantics of Hanshu which set the fashion in the history of Hanshu studies. His book Feng Su Tong Yi has values in adjusting the customs, identifying the duties and purifying the spirits, and just for these reasons, it has a place in Chinese historical history.
