Clean energy is an important card played by the Obama government in terms of industrial adjustment.It seems that clean energy can lead US to a new height in many ways:to improve the employment rate in short-term,to solve the energy security issue in a long run and to expand the emerging market,or even to rebuild its global moral image.Due to unique geographic advantages(rich solar and wind power) and well-known innovative competitiveness,Silicon Valley,California has become one of the landmarks for American new energy industry.Right in here,many start-ups were born among several prevailing fields:renewable energy,smart grid, electric motor car,etc. In 3-day visit,from newly-built photovoltaic business in Silicon Valley to Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories,from North America headquarter of Chinese enterprise SunTech Power to Energy Foundation,from Better Place blueprint to UCGEC,what China Entrepreneur reporter has seen is only a little part of American new energy picture.Anyway, it is changing now.Remember,hybrid-driven TOYOTA Prius was not so popular as it is now in Silicon Valley at least two years ago.
