A New Algorithm Used in Video Compression for Estim ating Motion Vector

在视频压缩算法中，运动估值和补偿计算量巨大，要达到实时压缩的要求，必须解决这一瓶颈。采用不同的子块搜索策略，得到的视频质量和计算时间也大不一样。本文通过对常用搜索策略进行分析，提出了一种新的搜索策略，极大地减少了计算量，而且对视频的质量影响很小。

In video compression algorith ms, the computing cost of motion estimation and compensation is very large. In o r der to reach demand of real time video compressing, we must overcome this bottl eneck. The video quality and computing cost is very different with different blo ck searching strategy. In this paper, we found a new searching strategy, it decr eases the computing cost greatly and effects the video quality a few.
