That＇s right, Mauritius, the small island country of 1.2 million people standing off the eastern coast of Madagascar, is one of the top ten largest sources of foreign direct investment into China, according to the Ministry of Commerce. Mauritius invested USD 1.5 billion in China in 2008, accounting for 1.62% of the total investment volume that China had received. The size of its investment in China is growing faster than all but five other countries.
