PRELIMINARY DISCUSSION ON THE ART FORM OF CHINESE CONTEMPORARY CERAMICS

当代艺术陶瓷展现在我们面前的现实是传统、现代、先锋三类艺术形态交搭叠置的人文景观。现代类与先锋类创造意图相近,而在照顾欣赏习惯与理解认同这一点上,现代类又与传统类接近。传统与现代类的艺术表现是其主流和主体,先锋类在当代文化的宽松环境下,有意识无意识地影响着当代陶瓷的创造发展,最终都将随着时空的变换、文明的进程、科技的进步融入将来未知的人类精神文化生活中。

This paper takes an insight into the contemporary features of art ceramics. It points out, the essence of the mainstream art ceramics lies in its traditional or contemporary expression; in the much freer cultural context of contemporary times, avant-garde art has consciously or unconsciously influenced the creation of contemporary ceramics, and will somehow make its way into the spiritual and cultural life of man in the future with the elapse of time, progress of civilization and development of science and technology.
