On Shen Yiang′s The Temple on the Puding Mountain

沈庠是明孝宗弘治年间任职贵州的一个官员,他的《普定山寺》一诗描绘了安顺圆通寺的多彩景致,是众多讴歌圆通寺的诗作中较为著名的一首。圆通寺建于元至正十一年,明、清时经过多次重修,成为安顺城内最著名的寺庙,有"黔境第一山"之誉。

Shen Xiang was an official in Guizhou Province in the period of Emperor Hongzhi＇s reign of the Ming Dynasty. His poem The Temple on the Puding Mountaindescribed the colorful sights of Yuantong Temple. It is more famous than those that eulogize Yuantong Temple. Yuantong Temple was built in the eleventh year of the Ming Emperor Zhizheng＇ s reign, and was rebuilt many times during the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty. With the Puding Mountain honored as ＂The Best Mountain in Guizhou＂, the temple is the most famous in Anshun City.
