Pu Songling in a Collection of Ghost Stories portrayed various images of female ghosts, one of whom was the most popular, Yingning. She was a flower addict, courageous in speaking and laughing, naive, simple and cunning and full of real nature. By creating the image, Pu Songling showed his sincere care for women＇s fortune and overthrew women＇s images trapped in Confucian Ritualism.
