Treatment of DG with Combination of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine

糖尿病足是Oakley于1956年首先提出来的,其定义是糖尿病患者由于合并神经病变及各种不同程度末梢血管病变而导致下肢感染、溃疡形成和(或)深部组织的破坏。临床上以肢体末端疼痛、麻木、感染、缺血、溃疡、坏疽为主要特征,曾有报道糖尿病肢端坏疽截肢率高达38.1%～75.0%,糖尿病坏疽(DG)是2型糖尿病患者的严重并发症之一,导致患者生活质量低,愈后差。

DG was come up with by Dr. Oakley in 1956. The term is referred to the complicated condition in which ulcers, inflammation, destruction of deep tissue take place at lower extremities due to the compromised nerve endings and poor local blood supply. DG is clinically featured with pain, numbness, infection, ischemia, ulcers, and necrosis in the far end of extremities. It is reported that amputation rate with DG was up to 38.1%-75.0%, and is one of the serious diabetic complications that lead to lower life quality and poor prognoses.
