The Historical Evolution of the Purpose of Vocational Education and its Enlightenment

通过审视职业教育的目的——生计目的、实业目的、国家战略目的,发现职业教育目的具有强烈的功利主义和工具主义的价值取向,导致职业教育实践中出现了许多忽视人的发展的不和谐画面。新时期应树立以人为本的职业教育目的,使职业教育更好地促进人的发展和社会的进步。

Through examining the purpose of vocational education which includes the livelihood purpose,the in-dustrial purpose and the purpose of national strategy,the author found that the purpose of vocational education had a strong utilitarian and instrumental value orientation so that there were many disharmony phenomenon which ne-glected the human development.We should establish the human-based purpose of vocational education in a new era,so that vocational education can be better to promote human development and social progress.
