American Undergraduate Research and Its Inspiration to China

摘要 本科生科研是培养创新型人才的有效途径。美国从20世纪60年代开始开展本科生科研活动,是世界上最早开展本科生科研活动的国家,也是迄今开展本科生科研活动最为广泛的国家。本文回顾了美国本科生科研的历史沿革,介绍与分析了美国本科生科研的发展现状与趋势,并提出了可供我国开展本科生科研活动借鉴的政策建议。 Undergraduate research is an effective way of cultivating creative talents. In 1960s, America began the development of the undergraduate research. It is the first country to start this activity and also the first one who has developed the most wide - ranging undergraduate research. This paper reviews the history of American undergraduate research, introduces and analyzes its current situation and trend and at last puts forward some suggestions for China to develop its undergraduate research.
